| Orifice Plates are most commonly used primary elements for flow measurement in pipe line based on the principles of measurement of "Differential Pressure" created when on abstraction is placed in the fluid flow due to increase in fluid velocity. For industrial application minimum pipe size is limited to 2" by manufactures and installation tolerance. Orifice plates for pipe size smaller than 2" can be fabricated and installed as Integral Orifice Plates. |
